Every so often I venture beyond the Forest Hills zip code to see what's to eat out there in the wild, unruly yonder. Typically, the rule is that I have to be able to walk there from my apartment. So, when the Times wrote a very positive review of Taste of Samarkand, the Uzbek restaurant on Woodhaven Boulevard, I put on my comfy shoes, grabbed my buddy Seth, and we headed over.
