Twin Donut is has covered its windows in free newspapers and plastered RENT signs on the door. I will lament the passing of one of our only places to eat 24 hours a day. So whether you loved it donuts or hated its hamburgers (I know, right? Hamburgers at a donut shop?), we're reduced to T-Bone and probably another mobile phone store.
*****Also, one of our most recent arrivals, the Korean mini-restaurant Green Sky, is shuttered as well. This surprises me less, given that it was hidden underground, its menu was very small for a takeout place and it was next door to two other Asian restaurants, but I had hoped that it would survive the growing pains to teach Forest Hillians to enjoy bulgogi. Not so much. Pretty soon, Thai and Italian will be all we have left.

But on that front, we might have one LESS Italian to worry about. Piu Bello, newly placed in the old Positano location, has been closed for weeks and a quick schlep past it last night around 8pm (prime dining out time) showed it closed with a buildup of flyers shoved into and under the door. Is Piu Bello finally dead? Is that location cursed?

As for me, yes, I know, I've been negligent in getting more local reviews. Soon, my pretties.
